I'm on some lists 3 times

I'm on some newsletters three times.

On purpose.

One with my work email, one with my personal email, and sometimes one more. Every time they send, I get three copies, and I can see the little differences. Which welcome email showed up. Which offer I got. Which version of the funnel I landed in.

It's my favorite way to learn how other creators set things up. (And yes, it's a little nosy.)

Last week I wrote about what happens when your automations collide.

Step 2 was to walk through your funnel like a superfan would.

Your own address has probably been tagged, tested, and pushed through every sequence you own. So it can't show you what a new subscriber sees.

So here are the next steps to subscribe to yourself:

  1. Grab two or three email addresses that aren't on your list yet. You can even use an alias like robby+mainoptin@yourdomain.com
  2. Take each one down a different path. One signs up through your main opt-in. Another grabs a freebie, then a second freebie the same afternoon.
  3. Count what lands in your inbox, and track every email and when it showed up, for a full week. Where do two or more automations pile up? Where does someone wait days without hearing from you?

Then keep those addresses subscribed to your list.

Every time you change something, you'll see it from the inside, the same way your subscribers do.

Soon you'll have a step-by-step way to do this walkthrough on your whole Kit account.

Want first dibs? Reply with "yes" and I'll add you to the wait list.

Here's to seeing your list the way your subscribers do!
